Ermesinde

The Ermesinde station is one of the largest stations of the Guimarães line. But it is not just a station, it is used for passing from one part of Ermesinde to other, an underpass of the station is rather like a street with many shops and services, benches and telephone boxes. The station is alive almost all day because one side of the building joins to a centre of Ermesinde (with square and shops, cafés) and the opposite part of the station bound on a residential area.

The station´s location and all the services joined to it make this complex almost as an example for another suburban stations, not only in Portugal. Large parking, quality access to bus transport and comfortable atmosphere are very useful for daily use as most of passenger do.
